Allison Creek HOA

The Allison Creek Homeowners Association seeks to enhance quality of life along the Allison Creek Peninsula on Lake Wylie, SC. We maintain a Community Watch program, a Clean and Green effort, and host annual meetings and social functions so that members may develop a sense of community with neighbors.

Your Board of Directors
Barbara O'Connell serves as President of the ACHOA.  Steve Davis serves as Vice President.  George & Dawn Samios serve as Secretary/Treasurer.   Jan Todd maintains the website.  David Coone is the past-year President.  Mike Allman, John Rinehart and John Clonigner also serve on the board.  Ex-officio members include the President of Mariner's Bluff HOA, Carl Thomas, and the President of Mariner's Watch HOA, Jeff Humphries.

George Meyer heads up the Community Watch program, using area captains to keep an eye on the Allison Creek community.  Let George know if there is an issue affecting the safety of our residents.

Jane Finch directs the Land Use/Zoning committee.  She is our spokesperson on issues regarding development around the Lake Wylie area.

Lisa Wright is your Clean & Green director. Once a quarter, Lisa organizes a team of volunteers to pick up trash along Allison Creek Road.  This is a great way to get to know your neighbors while beautifying our Lake Wylie community!

Dues
Annual dues are only $10 per household, paid in February when the association has its annual meeting.  These voluntary dues cover postage & copy costs for mailing newsletters, facility rental for meetings, and other needs as approved by the board.  Your dues can paid at the meeting, or mailed to Jan Todd, 2055 Tiger Paw Ln., York SC  29745.  Checks should be made to ACHOA.

Meetings
We have an annual meeting, usually in early February, to discuss various neighborhood issues, Lake Wylie concerns, and elect new officers.  A meal is served, and annual dues are collected.  The meeting is held at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Allison Creek and Hand's Mill Road.  Notices are sent out by email and by mail.

In addition, we usually have a Fish Fry or social gathering in the fall.

Mark your calendars for River Sweep, Saturday Oct 2, 9am - noon.

We received some pictures of largemouth bass & gar recently caught on Lake Wylie, from the Susan Gordon King's house on Dove Point Lane.  Check out the photo's, and send some of your own!

After seeing the picture of the gar (which I've never seen in this lake), I googled and found a directory of fish found in Lake Wylie.  Check out this link:
